Aerospace Education

Cadets of the Scott Composite Squadron participate in a wide range of Aerospace Education opportunities.

Our middle school and high school Cyber Patriot teams perform well each year.

We also conduct a model rocketry and remote control aircraft syllabus.

Cadet Orientation Flights

Each cadet can receive five powered and five glider orientation flights.

Parents can watch their cadet's flight live on Flight Aware. Just enter CAP1181 based in Alton or CAP1183 based in Marion in the search bar at the top of the page.

Yeager Award Exam

As part of the internal aerospace program, adult members study the Aerospace:  The Journey of Flight 3d Edition textbook and take the Yeager Award Exam as part of their Level 2 requirements. Reference the step by step guide located on the right side of the page.
